New build timber frame family home

A self-contained annex in one half of the basement is a multi-purpose, flexible space which can be used as an independent office, workshop, granny/nanny annex and in fact was converted by the client into a home cinema.

The house is clad in natural Cotswold stone with a reconstituted stone roof to meet the requirements of the planners.

The structure of this house is timber frame insulated with Warmcel recycled newspaper insulation, with double and triple height spaces, yet has a traditional appearance from the outside.
