A development of 6 new houses on a sloping site on the edge of Stroud with views up the Slad Valley, one time home of Laurie Lee, author of “Cider with Rosie”.

The houses are entered at first floor level from a shared car parking area with an open living/dining/kitchen at lower ground floor level with french doors leading down to the garden, and bedrooms on the upper floors, including the roof spaces where purchasers included an additional bedroom.

The site was built by the construction of a number of parallel retaining walls supporting car parking areas and houses, with timber framed construction to the houses with rendered blockwork external walls and tiles roofs.
