A new gateway to a small industrial estate

This new industrial building is designed to be a gateway building to a small industrial estate on the A38 which runs between Bristol and Gloucester.

The site is elevated above the A38 and the building is designed as a perfect square in plan with a pyramidal slated roof, rendered blockwork walls, a cedar clad frieze at first floor level and double height corner windows to the south facing facades.

Internally office space occupies the west elevation at ground and first floor levels with open commercial/warehouse space in the remainder.

The building has traditional construction; walls of cavity blockwork and a timber trussed rafter roof. This allows the building to be converted for other uses at some time in the future.
